How to Schedule a Pin on Desktop
Pinterest's steps on the web:
- Log in to your Pinterest business account.
- Click Create at the top left of the screen and select Create Pin. If Pinterest shows a menu icon instead, open it and select Create Pin under Create.
- Upload an image or video for your Pin.
- Fill in the Pin details: title, description, link and board.
- Select Publish at a later date and choose the day and time.
- Finish creating your Pin.
Pinterest says you can select up to 10 images on desktop, and each image becomes its own Pin.
How to Schedule a Pin in the Pinterest App
Pinterest's steps on Android and iOS:
- Open the Pinterest app and log in to your business account.
- Tap the plus icon at the bottom of the screen and select Pin.
- Select an image or video, then tap Next.
- Fill in the Pin details.
- Next to Schedule date or Schedule publish date, tap the arrow and pick the date and time. Tap Done.
- Tap Schedule, check the date and time, and tap Schedule again to confirm.
In the app, Pinterest says that if you select more than one image or video, they're stitched together into a single video Pin. If you want separate Pins from several images, schedule them on desktop.
Where to Find, Edit or Delete Scheduled Pins
Pinterest says your scheduled Pins appear on your profile, above your published Pins. It can take a few minutes for a new scheduled Pin to show up.
To edit a scheduled Pin, open it from your profile. Pinterest says you can change the publish date, title, board, description and link. You can't change the image or video. If the image needs fixing, delete the scheduled Pin and schedule a new one.
To delete a scheduled Pin, go to your profile, click or tap the ellipsis icon at the bottom of the Pin and select Delete.
How to Schedule Many Pins at Once With Bulk Upload
Pinterest's standard scheduler handles one Pin at a time, with up to 10 Pins scheduled for the future. Pinterest also provides a separate Bulk upload Pins tool that accepts a .csv spreadsheet containing up to 200 images or videos. Each row can include its own publish date.
Pinterest's Publish date column decides when each Pin goes live:
- A future date schedules the Pin for that date.
- A date with a UTC time (for example 2026-11-02T08:00:00) publishes at that time. Pinterest asks for UTC, so convert from your own time zone.
- A date with no time publishes at the same time of day you uploaded the file.
- An empty field publishes the Pin straight away.
Pinterest also requires a title (up to 100 characters), a media URL and a board for every row. A description can be up to 500 characters. If a date isn't formatted correctly, Pinterest says you'll get an error and that Pin won't be published.
To upload the file on desktop, open Settings, select Import content, then click Upload next to Upload .csv or .txt file. Pinterest says bulk upload works on desktop only.
Auto-Publishing Pins From Your Blog's RSS Feed
If you publish a blog, Pinterest can create Pins from it for you. Pinterest's RSS auto-publish feature needs a claimed website, and every item in the feed must link to that domain.
You don't pick dates here. Pinterest says new feed items become Pins within 24 hours, the oldest content is published first, and it creates up to 200 Pins per day.
Native Scheduler or a Third-Party Tool?
Pinterest's own scheduler is free and covers simple, occasional scheduling. The 10-Pin cap means you'll need to refill the queue regularly if you post often.
